About the role
Smart Link Sales – Sales Manager, Canada is responsible for sales and maintaining relationships with customers in their assigned area. Sales Managers utilize effective sales techniques and dedication to drive sustainable financial growth for Smart Link Sales by forging strong relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drives revenue generation from accounts in assigned area.
- Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Maintains contracts and pricing for assigned accounts.
- Develops and maintains all client relations at assigned accounts.
- Works with Regional Sales Representatives to ensure complete account coverage.
- Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arranges business meeting with prospective clients.
- Consults with Operations to understand all areas of customer service.
- Communicates all billing, customer service industry, safety issues, repair needs, etc.
- Keeps accurate and detailed records of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel expenses.
- Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Builds long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
- Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
- Requires a strong sense of time management and planning skills.
- Requires regular out-of-town travel for work.
- Must be able to work alone or lead a team as necessary.
- Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
